SME Comply are a boutique Data Protection and Legal Services Consultancy with offices in the UK and Ireland.

Their mission is to simplify the management of compliance and legal matters, by offering a fixed-fee and subscription model to their client; making the best use out of the latest technologies.

Their founder, Gary O’Reilly, is a regulatory and privacy solicitor with over 15 years of experience. Gary has been involved in national publicised cases such as the Mid-Staffordshire inquiry and the horse racing corruption scandal.

Life before Infinity Digital

SME Comply had recently taken on a variety of social media and PR campaigns with You Do Better, but were looking at exploring inbound marketing as a method to increase leads through a freshly designed website.

With the launch of Image Extensions in 2021, SME Comply could see what the team here at Infinity Digital were doing with one of their clients’ campaign, which saw an uptake in CTR (click through rate) and wondered what this would look like for them…

How Have we helped?

We started the journey with the legal compliance experts by conducting keyword and audience research to identify how large the search intent was for their outsourced DPO (data protection officer) services, as well as UK & EU Representative services.

After understanding the market further, we soon sprang into action with some search campaigns. In the time we were running these campaigns, we saw 2.8k clicks, 1.45% CTR, a total ads spend of £2.3k and 261.5 conversions with a cost/conv of £8.68 on average.

Since then, we have implemented the recently released Performance Max feature on their Google Ads account and have helped them setup new services to take them to market online. So far, we have helped deliver 166.5 conversions with an average cost/conv of £7.99 and impressions share of 80% in what is considered a highly saturated market.
